Pixola is a Freemium app. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding Pixola's policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use Pixola's Service.

If you choose to use Pixola, then you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The Personal Information that Pixola collects is used for providing and improving the Service. Pixola will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Pixola unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using Pixola's Service, it may require you to provide Pixola with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Photos, and face data. Pixola uses a third-party AI tool to process these photos.

Face Data Collection

Pixola collects user-submitted photos for the purpose of providing AI-powered enhancements, including facial feature modifications, cartoon generation, age transformations, hairstyle alterations, and other effects. The photos may include identifiable facial data and are uploaded to a third-party AI tool for processing.

Face Data Processing

Photos are processed via a third-party AI tool. Once a photo is submitted, the tool processes the image and returns the enhanced result. This third-party AI service employs a stringent data management strategy, ensuring all uploaded files, including face data, are retained for a maximum of 24 hours and deleted immediately after processing.

Use of Face Data

The face data is used solely to apply AI-based features such as facial enhancements, cartoon effects, and other modifications as requested by the user. Pixola does not store user photos or face data beyond what is necessary to complete the requested processing.

FACE DATA RETENTION AND SHARING

Pixola does not store face data. When a photo is uploaded for processing:

  1. Retention:
    Face data is retained by the third-party AI tool for a maximum of 24 hours, after which it is automatically deleted from their servers. Pixola does not store the original or processed images beyond this period.

  2. Third-Party Sharing:
    Face data is shared with the third-party AI tool solely for processing purposes. The service does not share, sell, or disclose uploaded files to any third parties unless required by law or with your explicit authorization.

Log Data

Pixola wants to inform you that whenever you use its Service, in case of an error in the app it collects data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing its Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, Pixola may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Pixola values your trust in providing your Personal Information and uses commercially acceptable means to protect it. The third-party AI tool implements additional security measures, encrypting all uploaded files and ensuring they are stored securely on trusted cloud platforms. Despite these efforts, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Therefore, Pixola strongly advises you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. Pixola has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 4. Pixola does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 4. In the case Pixola discovers that a child under 4 has provided it with personal information, Pixola immediately deletes this from its servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided Pixola with personal information, please contact Pixola so that it will be able to take the necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Pixola may update its Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Pixola will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
